Next up on the baby shower invitation tour, Martin Twins!!
Fall-friendly, but not “PUMPKINNNNN” was the goal – so the idea evolved to apples. Twin apples, that is. This invitation was designed with fall colors, hand lettering and storks with bundles sporting each babies’ initial.
What a fun summer it’s been! Hot (and sweaty at times), but I’ve enjoyed every moment of it – and this final Summer Adventure session was no different! Continue reading
This #WeddingWednesday we’re going to be taking a peek at some baby shower invitations!! I had the pleasure of designing a friend’s baby shower invitation and I LOVED it. Watercolor + peaches + babies? SIGN ME UP!
Hand painted watercolor, this invitation design features a baby monogram matching the peach themed shower along with neutral florals to accommodate a neutral-loving mama! Each invitation was addressed with a touch of greenery watercolor to coordinate with the invite and a pearl-finish peach wax seal designed for baby Jamison and created by Artisaire!
I’m so excited to share these invitations, but even more excited to welcome baby Jamison when she arrives!!
Let’s talk life goals/bucket lists. Like, sky diving or riding a camel (?) or photographing someone famous.
Well, folks, this summer my secret goal of photographing a celeb came true. I was invited to photograph a very formal afternoon tea with two Mermaid-Princess-Acrobat-Cowgirls (they told me so themselves).
Sweet friends of ours had the nerve to move away right when having a baby, depriving us of their sweet baby amazingness. Can you believe that??? When I posted about a mini session I genuinely hoped they’d bring sweet Hudson back to town and join in on the fun – and, behold, baby swimmer session was born.
I seriously considered scheduling swimming lessons for Jack this summer. One, I was late to the game, so next year will have to do. Two, I thought the whole time “do under-one-year-olds even learn how to swim, really?” The answer to that was clearly yes. Hudson is seven months and held his breath under water – WHAT? He was kicking and playing and splashing – totally comfortable in the water!
Little man is in his ELEMENT in the water. Like, little mer-man level. Splashing, giggles and baby smiles, this session was the stuff of Summer dreams.
