Hey friends! I posted on my Instagram and Facebook page earlier this week about a special summer deal for photo sessions (to be the first in-the-know and get those first booking spots in the future, follow along to catch the latest!) and now I’m opening up the last several spots to my site and blog!
Summer Adventure Sessions are back!! I’m currently booking Adventure Sessions (in the greater Memphis area) with special pricing! The spots are limited, so make sure and contact for booking if you’re interested (just make sure to mention the Adventure Session special).
Give me the details!
$100 for 30mins to 1hr of shooting (depending on the activity) and receive 10-15 edited images with a print release.* This pricing is only eligible for sessions booked before 8/1/18 and the session must be scheduled to shoot before 9/1/18.
What is an Adventure Session?
Think of an adventure session like documenting a Summer day in a time capsule. We’ll choose an activity and document the memories being made! It may seem a little odd at first, but you never know what your favorite picture will be. Maybe it’s the picture of the kids running through the sprinkler with a huge smile on their faces, or the picture of watermelon covering their clothes, or the baby giggles on the swings at the park. These are images you didn’t know you needed, but man do they give you those warm and fuzzies.
Real talk: Adventure Sessions are a big-time favorite of mine as a photographer. There’s something so real about capturing these totally organic emotions on camera. After having my first kid, these pictures are ones I could not do without as a mom.
One of the reasons I’m doing a Summer special pricing is to give everyone the opportunity to have images of their loved ones in this setting while school’s out. My hope is that when the kids are grown, you’ll look back on silly pictures like these and think of those summer memories and be SO glad you have them.
The exciting part about an Adventure Session is that you’re only limited by your imagination.**
Why do an Adventure Session?
Other than the pro’s mentioned above, this is the perfect opportunity to get those kiddos out from under the zombie-like-influence Netflix has on us ALL. It’s a perfect distraction of doing something fun and new, AND you’ll have print-ready images of these amazing memories.

Is it just for kids?
Negative, Ghostrider. Human babies, fur babies, no babies… Summer is a fun break for the kiddos out of school, but everyone deserves to have fun when it’s this hot. Even if work doesn’t let out for the Summer, let’s all live it up!
How do I book?
The first step to booking is to send an inquiry (just make sure to mention the Adventure Session special) and I’ll send you my remaining available time slots! (Remember, I’m only booking this special through 8/1/18 and scheduling the sessions through 9/1/18!) If you’ve got an idea you’d like to do for your session, great! If not, we’ll come up with something amazing and memorable together! I can’t wait to hear from you – let’s make Summer ’18 the best yet!
*the print release is a formal document that let’s you print your pictures
**Adventure sessions are on-location shoots. All locations must be photography-license friendly and specific locations will be discussed upon booking for availability.
So, if you want talk busy, let’s talk about the McAlexander family! Building a house AND having a baby. Phew. You guys. I’m tired just thinking about it. This adorable little family asked me to come do a Milestone session for little Collins in the new house (that of course) I had to shoot while there.
Y’all. This house. It’s freaking gorgeous. Not only does it look like the stuff of Joanna Gaines’ dreams, it’s on, like, a bazillion acres with horses THAT JUST HAD TWO BABIES!!! Babies all around!
Now, to the BEST part of the shoot – little baby Collins!! What a cutie, this guy. As a fellow boy-mom, it’s seriously the best (and little Collins couldn’t love his momma more). Sweet little guy got a bottle right when I got there and I was trying to think quick on how to get some sweet awake shots before he took his post-bottle nap.
There was no post-bottle nap!
Little guy didn’t want to miss a thing!!! I don’t know if I’ve seen another two month old baby follow the camera so much, but he was very interested in that clicking thing in his face. Such a good sport! This whole family is just the cutest, and I’m so glad they asked me to come out!!
